UNION TWP. | The surname O’Shea has been commonly heard around Wheeler for years now, and many great athletes have come out of the school with that last name.
MUNSTER | The Times No. 1 Munster Mustangs have received many accolades over the years for their successful tennis program.
MUNSTER | Steve Lopez was looking for his team to hone in on certain skills during their sectional opener.
HAMMOND | Bishop Noll has had some rough breaks this year. Unfortunately for Calumet, the blue Warriors took out some of their frustrations on the red ones with a 55-14 Greater South Shore Conference victory Friday.
Kyle Gooch rushed for four touchdowns Friday night, leading Lake Station to a 41-13 victory over Calumet in Greater South Shore Conference play.
CALUMET TWP. | It wasn't just the rain that drowned Calumet on Friday night. River Forest scored early and often, capitalizing on numerous Calumet fumbles and cruising to a 46-14 Greater South Shore Conference victory over the Warriors.
Chad Schultz rushed 20 times for 246 yards and five touchdowns as host North Newton routed Calumet 48-13 in Greater South Shore Conference play on Friday night.
HAMMOND | First impressions were positive for Gavit on Friday night. A rout in the season opener will do that.
