Skate into season of winter fun

Rejoice, winter lovers. The Rowan Park Ice Rink has opened for the season. The rink, at 11546 S. Avenue L in Chicago’s East Side neighborhood, is one of seven outdoor ice rinks run by the Chicago Park District. It features open skates, family skates, hockey and special events.
