VALPARAISO | It didn't open in time for Thanksgiving, as planned, but a few days of almost Indian summer were just what was needed to complete the final touches on the five-points roundabout Monday.
VALPARAISO | With Valparaiso's first two-lane roundabout set to open Friday, a few changes had to be made -- including removing contaminated soil from an old Civilian Conservation Corps camp.

CROWN POINT | Michigan-based author Bill Jamerson will present a music and storytelling program about the Civilian Conservation Corps at 2 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Crown Point Community Library. Admission is free.
