Reminder of what friends are for
When we went to high school dances, the DJs would always play “That’s what friends are for” toward the end of the night.
As a new school year starts, reunion classes have stories to tell
The calendar has flipped to August, the locusts can be heard in the early evenings now – summer will pass into fall soon enough. We have to start that back to school shopping and clear our calendars. I, for one, will be busy with fourth- and eighth-grade math for the next nine months.
St. Stanislaus alumni to celebrate at all-school reunion
As we begin the run-up to the class reunion season, it's interesting to note that folks hereabouts seem to have a stronger attachment to their elementary schools than to their high schools.
