Learn about office before deciding to seek it

It's ludicrous for a town clerk-treasurer candidate not to know the responsibilities of the office he seeks! Pat Hawrot's opponent says he's going to stop reckless spending. The clerk treasurer doesn't have a voice, let alone a vote! He has no say in how money is spent.
