HOBART | Hobart-On April 18, 292 5th grade students graduated D.A.R.E. at Hobart High School. D.A.R.E. is a Drug Abuse Resistance Education prevention program for teaching students the danger of drugs. D.A.R.E. was first taught in Los Angeles, California in 1985.

Fifth-graders pledge to say no to drugs through DARE

Hobart Police Department and School City of Hobart held the annual Drug Abuse Resistance Education graduation ceremony recently at Hobart High School. Receiving diplomas and recognition for completing the 10-week course were 290 fifth-graders.
