The people of Ogden Dunes do not want firearms and crossbows fired in our densely populated, tightly packed town for five months of the year to kill deer for eating flowers. Despite this, the Town Council is pushing forward to have another deer cull in Ogden Dunes as soon as possible this fall.
The Deer Management Task Force appointed by the Ogden Dunes Town Council has not come to a consensus on whether there is an overabundance of deer in Ogden Dunes. But they have come to a consensus that killing deer will not eliminate Lyme disease.
