Eight men appeared in bond court Saturday after being arrested two days earlier when police from Dolton and the Cook County Sheriff's Department broke up a dogfighting ring in a Dolton industrial garage.
CROWN POINT | A 32-year-old Gary man was the major player in a large-scale dogfighting ring operated out of his west side home, police said.
