CROWN POINT | September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and on Sunday people of all ages can promote awareness and raise funds to help area families whose children battle cancer.
CROWN POINT | Kids and those who are kids at heart flocked to the Lake County Fairgrounds in superhero costumes to fight the villain that is pediatric cancer.
CROWN POINT | Children bravely batting cancer and their families are life’s real superheroes, Tim Fealy, organizer of Saturday’s Kids in Capes Fun Walk/Run said.
Funding for pediatric cancer research lags far behind that for cancers affecting adults, yet the number of children diagnosed with cancer continues to rise in Northwest Indiana.
SCHERERVILLE | Please join us this Holiday season in helping to support our Northwest Indiana families who are dealing with pediatric cancer. Several local businesses will be donating a portion of their proceeds to make the Holidays a bit brighter for these children and their families.
