'Miracle drug' to halt heroin overdoses wins House approval

INDIANAPOLIS | First responders would be authorized to treat Hoosiers suffering drug overdoses with naloxone -- a so-called "miracle drug" that quickly neutralizes the effects of heroin and other opioids -- under legislation approved 96-0 by the House Wednesday.
