GRIFFITH | Large tanker trucks began rumbling through the residential neighborhood of North Cline Avenue 24 hours a day Wednesday, heading to and from the Enbridge Energy Co. Griffith Terminal to empty 29 million gallons of water stored in the tank farm on Avenue H.
Tanker trucks travel along North Cline Avenue south of 45th Avenue hauling water on behalf of Enbridge Energy Co. The route is being used to transfer water used during a hydrostatic pressure test on Enbridge's Line 14 from Enbridge's Griffith Terminal to a water treatment facility in Gary.
