Play premieres as benefit for Old Lake County Courthouse
“Frozen Stiff”, a dinner theater murder mystery, will premiere in the elegant Maki Ballroom of the Lake Court House in Crown Point next month. The production is a benefit for the Lake Court House Foundation Inc.
The Old Homestead hosts tours and fall fun
The Old Homestead, 227 S. Court St., Crown Point, has fun activities planned for visitors in October. Tours will be available from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 6, and visitors will see a demonstration of cooking with corn over an open fire, with fresh popcorn available for all.
