For Hammond schools, accountability starts at top
My daughter attends high school in Hammond, with excessive absenteeism of teachers, lack of uniform enforcement, lack of timeliness/follow up to parents when contacting administration for assistance. An "F" for the school district is correct.
EDITORIAL: 'No grades' policy makes no sense
The United States is a nation built on competition. Americans compete for jobs — both to gain them and, because of local or global competition, to keep those jobs. They need to develop that competitive spirit while they are young.
