HAMMOND | The Indiana Welcome Center hosts its Wag your Tail Wednesdays, an event that benefits local animal rescues. This Wednesday's event benefitted Hearts and Hounds Rescue in Schererville.

HAMMOND | The Indiana Welcome Center will once again be holding Wag Your Tail Wednesdays in conjunction with its ‘A Christmas Story” Comes Home exhibit. On Wednesday, Dec. 12 and Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 4-7 p.m., well-behaved cats and dogs will be able to have their picture taken with Santa.
