Holistic Community Coalition in East Chicago is hosting a graduation luncheon
Damita Moss recieves a stocked tool belt Friday from Ivy Tech Community College instructor Larry Gutierrez. Moss is one of the first of 11 graduates of a new program designed to train East Chicago residents for construction work in the city. The second class starts Monday.
Holistic Community Coalition in East Chicago is hosting a graduation luncheon
Kondo Rancifer and his 3-year-old son, Kelyen, look at the plaque Rancifer received Friday during his graduation from an Ivy Tech Community College construction training program for East Chicago residents. That city requires that half of workers on East Chicago project be city residents.
