A bronze statue of one of Toronto's founding fathers, Alexander Wood, who was a wealthy merchant, was erected in May 2005 in the Village neighborhood at the corner of Church and Wellesley, not far from the fashionable and affluent Yorkville neighborhood in Toronto.
Did we lose our freedom of speech? If not, then why is it that when someone is asked his opinion on a matter, such as homosexuality, if he gives an honest answer he/she is suspended from their job? If they give an answer that fits with the crowd, then there is no repercussions.
