As the focus turns from the manufactured shutdown/default crisis in Congress to the disastrous rollout of Obamacare, there is one thing Hoosiers should focus on. Indiana is not a healthy state.
INDIANAPOLIS | It was always a long-shot that Indiana would expand eligibility for its Medicaid program as directed by the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, given the distrust of the federal government by the state's Republican-controlled Legislature and Republican Gov. Mike Pence.
It's once more into the breach for state Rep. Charlie Brown, who is working tirelessly to try to get the Indiana General Assembly to ban smoking in public, just as is the case in Illinois.
