Military is on my mind

I've had World War II and the military, in general, on my mind lately. Tomorrow is Independence Day, the day our country celebrates our freedom. It's a freedom we enjoy thanks to all of the veterans who have served and all those who continue to serve.

People can do without parks but not food, shelter

The 10-cent tax increase referendum that Lan-Oak Parks is seeking is too much. Any amount at this time is too much.
