LANSING | On Nov. 16, the gym at Lansing Christian School was filled with Lansing residents helping to make a difference for those half a world away. The school, in partnership with Global Aid Network, packed up 10,000 Harvest Packs of heirloom vegetable seeds for families in developing countries.

Hundreds of volunteers from local churches and communities filled the gym at Lansing Christian School on Saturday to help package cabbage, onion, spinach, squash, and turnip seeds to be sent to families in developing countries,.

Volunteers from local churches and communities fill packets of spinach seeds Saturday at Lansing Christian School. The seeds will be sent to rural areas of developing nations to help families start food gardens. The project is sponsored by the Lansing Ministerial Association and Global Aid Network.
