Marilyn's Bakery offers a variety of pies for its annual Pie Charity Event, where $2 from every pie goes to one of three charities.
Marilyn Johnson Pearson, the founder of Marilyn's Bakery in Hobart gave a tour of the bakery to attendees of the 18th Innovators Cafe on Thursday afternoon.
The 18th Innovators Café, sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College Northwest and The Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana, marked the first time a small business was featured in the series as well as the first with a female CEO in Barbara Tracy, store president of Marilyn’s Bakery in Hobart.
