Marion County Circuit Court
INDIANAPOLIS | U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar, R-Ind., and his wife, will be allowed to cast ballots in the May 8 Republican primary election after agreeing Friday to re-register to vote using their Marion County farm.
U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar, R-Ind., has asked the Marion Circuit Court to restore his right to vote after the Marion County Election Board ruled last week Lugar and his wife are not Indiana residents after living in Virginia for the past 35 years.
Marion County Circuit Court Judge Louis Rosenberg's ruling could finally end the circus involving the Indiana secretary of state's office.
