HAMMOND | Mayor Thomas M. McDermott Jr. will begin this year's Mayor’s Night Out schedule with an appearance Tuesday at the Eggers Middle School cafeteria, 5825 Blaine Ave.

Hammond starts August off with a WHAM, the Whiting/Hammond After Midnight bike ride that will be Saturday. Enjoy a fun, relaxing 25-mile ride through Hammond and Whiting, celebrating many of the two communities’ new bike paths.
