Members of the Ouiatenon Brigade lay up on the shore of the Indiana Dunes State Park beach just like the Canadian voyageurs of the 1700s did when they were trading furs Saturday afternoon for the weekend's history at the dunes event.
The weekend's History at the Dunes event drew an encampment of the Ouiatenon Brigade of re-enactors who dress, eat and live like Canadian fur traders did in the 1700s all weekend long.
