Northwest Indiana Green Vision Project
GARY | The city’s parks got a little bit cleaner Wednesday thanks to the Northwest Indiana Green Vision Project, a partnership between The Times Media Co. and Lake County Juvenile Court Judge Mary Beth Bonaventura.
Robert L. Armstead Sr. was sentenced to two years on a weapons charge, but Gary residents now thank him when they see him working in the community.
Nonviolent young offenders will get a chance to improve their communities while paying their dues through the Northwest Indiana Green Vision Project.
