Valpo OKs rezoning request for luxury apartments, business park
VALPARAISO | After another two hours of comments Monday from the public opposing the rezoning of 118 acres on Evans Avenue east of Ind. 49, the City Council voted 6-1 to approve the request.

VALPARAISO | The city's Plan Commission will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to vote on a recommendation for the proposed rezoning of a luxury apartment and business park development on Evans Avenue.

VALPARAISO | More than 200 people filled the council chambers and the hallway Tuesday night as residents of Pine Creek subdivision and nearby homes turned out at the plan commission meeting in protest of rezoning for a proposed business park and 512-unit luxury apartment complex on Evans Avenue.
