Santa Claus arrived in Crown Point last week via helicopter. Visit him and Mrs. Claus from noon to 4 p.m. each Saturday before Christmas in the Lower Level of the Old Lake Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Square.

Students in grades 4 to 6 who enjoy reading and making new friends are welcome to join the Crown Point Community Library's Young Reader Book Club. The group will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at the library, 214 S. Court St.
