MUNSTER | The School Town of Munster has notified five teachers they could lose their jobs this fall.
HAMMOND | The School City of Hammond has recalled 34 teachers and 39 support staff members who were laid off a couple of months ago.

Gary Teachers Union President Carlos Tolliver contends he doesn't want to be adversarial -- rather a watchdog for teachers and a partner with the Gary Community School Corp. to better prepare students.
CROWN POINT | Crown Point Community School Corp. Superintendent Teresa Eineman gave preliminary notices to 48 teachers and said she also is putting support staff and administrators on notice that unless the upcoming referendum passes, they may not have a job in the fall.
