MERRILLVILLE | A 16-year-old boy who is accused of slaying an 80-year-old Merrillville woman while fleeing police has been charged with murder. Royal Marshall, of Merrillville, also was charged with auto theft in Lake Criminal Court. Marshall is being charged as an adult.
