Billy Nickrand, pastor at Door Village United Methodist Church in LaPorte, is planning to ring the bell for the Salvation Army for 60 straight hours this weekend. He started at noon Thursday and plans to go until midnight Saturday. He is ringing the bell at Kroger in LaPorte.
