School Improvement Grant
Officials at a turnaround company hired to improve academics at Gary Roosevelt College and Career Academy hope to receive a school improvement grant to continue operating the school.
The Indiana Department of Education will get another $9.3 million to help turn around the lowest-performing schools in the state.
GARY | Although Gary's Roosevelt Career and Technical Academy did not win a School Improvement Grant from the state, administrators said it still will move forward with the turnaround plan of school improvement requiring at least 50 percent of the staff be reassigned.
