Seton Academy will not appeal IHSA sanctions
Seton Academy will not appeal the sanctions issued Wednesday by the Illinois High School Association, said Seton principal Marianne Lynch.

Seton Academy boys basketball coach Brandon Thomas will not be able to coach his team in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 postseasons. The IHSA issued those sanctions as a result of his behavior at the Class 2A state championship game on March 9 in Peoria.
