Give our brave soldiers their personal freedoms

It is shameful that men and women who choose to protect our lives, our land and our freedoms are not able to exercise those hard-won freedoms themselves. Our soldiers volunteer to put themselves in harm's way for us without asking anything in return. They shouldn't have to fight our prejudices too.
