South Shore Leadership Youth For Community Engagement
VALPARAISO | The South Shore Leadership Center is molding its second crop of high school students into the Region's next leaders.
Paige Smith, 18, was recognized in February as a Junior Kiwanian by the Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis Club.
Angelo Pedroza, 15, is excelling in the South Shore Leadership Youth for Community Engagement program, and is looking forward to making a name for himself by using his experience to helping others.
A total of 61 students from 27 high schools in seven Northwest Indiana counties have begun the second yearlong leadership program, South Shore Leadership Youth for Community Engagement, created by the region's South Shore Leadership Center.
