DYER | Pastor James Clark and members of Dyer United Methodist Church are embarking on a unique missions trip. They’ll be riding the South Shore Line and stopping in South Bend and Gary to serve, connect and collaborate with sister Methodist churches.
As the region struggles to recover from the worst economy since the Great Depression, there are some intriguing signs of growth. Planting urban gardens is among them.
Newly donated plants from Grow NWI were planted by volunteers at Stewart House Urban Garden in Gary.
