EAST CHICAGO | Police are seeking tips following a robbery early Monday at a Mexican restaurant on Indianapolis Boulevard.
GARY | A Gary man told police early Saturday he was robbed by someone he knows at his home in the 3500 block of Johnson Street.
GARY | A 65-year-old man told police early Wednesday that two men robbed him after one of them called him for a ride.
DYER | Two local men were arrested on charges of robbery and battery after beating a man early Saturday outside a Dyer tavern and taking his wallet and cellphone, police said.
SOUTH HAVEN | A 15-year-old South Haven boy told police he was the victim of a strong-arm robbery near South Haven Elementary School.
GARY | A 52-year-old Gary man was stabbed in the shoulder and beaten early Saturday after refusing to share his beer and liquor with a stranger on the street, police said.
VALPARAISO | Police are investigating a report of a strong-arm robbery Monday of an elderly man who uses a wheelchair.
