The Bakery House
GARY | When Lucille Salmi spoke with relatives about celebrating her 95th birthday, she insisted that the party take place at the Bakery House in Gary, a residence for indigent men and where she has been a volunteer for the past 18 months.
CROWN POINT | Rebuilding the Breach Ministries Inc. which owns and operates The Bakery House, a residence for indigent men, will host its annual Bakery House Benefit Dinner, "Living in His Promise," at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

CROWN POINT | "Telling the Story" is the theme of this year's annual benefit and dinner for the Bakery House mission in Gary. The event will be held Sunday in the gymnasium at Trinity Lutheran Church and School, 250 S. Indiana Ave., Crown Point.
GARY | Several ladies from Lutheran churches in Northwest Indiana make and provide bed quilts annually for the worldwide missions of the Lutheran World Relief and Human Care and other church agencies.
