VALPARAISO | The city's Utilities Board is expected to vote in two weeks on a recommendation to the council on whether Valparaiso should continue to add fluoride to the city water supply.

Fluoride in the water, introduced in the 1940s, continues to be a controversial topic. No one is calling it a Communist plot anymore, but the two sides still can be heated about it.
Those who say, "It must be something in the water" might be right. The water has plenty of stuff in it, including fluoride, and once again this week a Valpo resident asked the city to stop fluoridation.
