GARY | One in five children living in Lake and Porter counties knows hunger in his or her daily life, and many of the elderly in Northwest Indiana don’t get enough nutritious food to eat.
WLTH Radio hosts an on-air fundraiser Friday for the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana at the Urban League of Northwest Indiana in Gary. The money from the fundraiser will go to buy holiday food baskets for the Food Bank's Hope for the Holidays campaign.
