CHESTERTON | Yost Elementary recently hosted their 12th annual Book Battle Competition this past Thursday. Winners were the 2012 Yost Book Battle Competition were The Purple Polka-Dotted Crazy Squirrels team of Theresa Mahoney, Paige Fowler, Madalyn Figg and Jenna McBride.

Valentines for Veterans

CHESTERTON | Yost Elementary second graders used some of the proceeds from their Yosties' Candy Crunchies Company to give a monetary donation to the Indiana Veterans Home in Lafayette, Indiana. Along with the monetary donations, the classes made valentines for the residents.
