GUEST COMMENTARY: Consider year-end gift to 'Grand Old Lady'
In order for Crown Point to grow and prosper, the Old Lake County Courthouse on the square must grow and prosper. July 1, 2013, will see the end of the matching grant given to the Court House Foundation by the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation.
GUEST COMMENTARY: Court House requires extra care to keep it in shape
In response to a recent letter to the editor, I am eager to set the record straight. I respect her opinion and her right to express it. However, I would like to refer to her criticisms to aid her and the public to understand the position of the beautiful, historic Court House on the square.
Crown Point's Grand Old Lady needs your help
When we approach our square, we come face to face with not only a living history, but perhaps the most beautiful and well preserved of all the county courthouses in Indiana. The Crown Point Courthouse symbolizes the vitality, beauty and caring nature of our town.
