HIGHLAND | Highland Elks Lodge 981 hosted a silent auction and dinner on October 14 to benefit Indiana University and Purdue University Cancer Research. Over 100 donations were received for the auction which more than 100 in attendance bid on.
Ladies of Elks Lodge 981 host Ladies Tea to benefit Calumet Hospice
HIGHLAND | The Ladies of Highland Elks Lodge 981 hosted a Ladies Tea to benefit Calumet Hospice. The event was attended by 84 woman who enjoyed tea, were served lunch and then bid on 22 evening bags with the main prize being a Coach Purse.
Elks Lodge 981 recognizes three students with scholarships
HIGHLAND | The Highland Elks Lodge 981 Scholarship committee, which consists of Rich Moskalick, Milli DesCamp, Ray Luniewski and Albert Kepchar held fundraisers throughout the year and as a result were able to award $500 scholarships to three recent high school graduates.
