CROWN POINT | The Crown Point High School Band, Choir and Orchestra earn the prestigious Top Ten in the state, 2012-13 All-Music Award, from the Indiana State School Music Association.
New principal at Eisenhower Elementary
CROWN POINT | Dr. Teresa A. Eineman, Superintendent of Schools, and Mrs. Mary Ann Chapko, Eisenhower principal, welcomed a new principal to Eisenhower Elementary School. Principal Colin, a fourth grade student, took over the helm at Eisenhower on May 14 as Principal for the Day.

CROWN POINT | Crown Point High School senior Kelsey Hopkins is among the 2,500 high school students across the country to win a $2,500 National Merit Scholarship and plans to major in chemical engineering.

CROWN POINT | The fourth grade class at Jerry Ross Elementary School visited Buckley Homestead in Lowell on April 22. Students spent the day in the past experiencing the culture and heritage of farming life during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
