Larry Chandler, 34, of Highland, claimed his $1 million Powerball prize Thursday. Chandler said he plans to continue working as a union electrical engineer.

Larry Chandler, 34, of Highland won $1 million in Wednesday's record-high Powerball drawing. Chandler purchased the winning ticket from Highland Citgo at 8317 Kennedy Ave.
