The Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI) is currently looking for partners to assist in expanding the pipeline of talent entering the advanced manufacturing and logistics industries. With these Champions' help, CWI will be able to create awareness among Northwest Indiana parents, students and teachers of the types of careers available locally in the manufacturing and logistics industries.
The High School Champion initiative is developed in partnership with Conexus Indiana and the Dream it Do it Campaign. According to extensive national research, the main impediment to young people entering the high-tech and in-demand career pathways available in the manufacturing and logistics industries is the false perception about the kinds of jobs available.
Help the Champions show students, parents and teachers that there is much more to factory and warehouse jobs and viable careers available in the manufacturing and logistics industries.
