Rotnei Clarke led five players in doubles figures with 14 points in Butler's 69-58 win over La Salle in the Atlantic 10 quarterfinals Friday, and now the fourth-seeded Explorers (21-9) must await their NCAA tournament fate.

Khyle Marshall had 13 points, and Andrew Smith added 11 points and eight rebounds for the fifth-seeded Bulldogs (26-7), who face regular-season champ Saint Louis in today's semifinals.

No. 4 Louisville 69, No. 24 Notre Dame 57: Russ Smith scored 20 points, and Peyton Siva added 12 to lead Louisville to a victory over Notre Dame, the third consecutive year the Cardinals beat the Fighting Irish in the semifinals of the Big East tournament.

Second-seeded Louisville (28-5), one of the Big East's tri-champions in the regular season, will face fifth-seeded and No. 19-ranked Syracuse in the championship game tonight at Madison Square Garden. The Orange (26-8) beat top-seeded and fifth-ranked Georgetown 58-55 in overtime in the semifinals.

Jack Cooley and Jerian Grant both had 14 points for sixth-seeded Notre Dame (25-9).

No. 22 Wisconsin 68, No. 6 Michigan 59: Ben Brust scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half and Wisconsin (22-10) knocked off Michigan (26-7) in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals. Traevon Jackson had 16 points for the Badgers, who will play top-seeded Indiana in the semifinals today.

No. 8 Michigan State 59, Iowa 56: Adreian Payne had 18 points and 10 rebounds, leading Michigan State to a rugged victory over Iowa (21-12) in the Big Ten quarterfinals.

Keith Appling and Gary Harris had 13 points apiece for the Spartans (25-7). They advance to play Ohio State in the next round in a rematch of last season's tournament championship, won by Michigan State.

No. 10 Ohio State 71, Nebraska 50: DeShaun Thomas and Sam Thompson had 19 points apiece, helping Ohio State (24-7) rout Nebraska (15-8) in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals.

Maryland 83, No. 2 Duke 74: Dez Wells scored a career-high 30 points, and Maryland (22-11) upset Duke (27-5) in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.

No. 9 Miami 69, Boston College 58: Shane Larkin scored 20 points, and Miami (25-6) pulled away to beat Boston College (16-17) in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament.

No. 7 Kansas 88, Iowa State 73: Perry Ellis scored a career-high 23 points, and seventh-ranked Kansas (28-5) pulled away in the second half to beat Iowa State (22-11) and reach the Big 12 tournament title game.

No. 13 Florida 80, LSU 58: Erik Murphy scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed a career-best 12 rebounds to help Florida (25-6) take the first step toward trying to add a Southeastern Conference tournament title to their regular season championship by beating LSU (19-12).

No. 25 VCU 82, Saint Joseph's 79: Treveon Graham scored 17 points, and hot-shooting VCU (25-7) beat Saint Joseph's (18-13) in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 tournament.
