Valparaiso will win if: It avoids another slow start. The Crusaders fell behind by double digits early in the first half last Saturday and lost 79-76 to Youngstown State. VU had four players in double figures in an earlier 65-58 win at Loyola on Jan. 22.
Loyola will win if: It receives a balanced-scoring effort. Monica Albano is the team's leading scorer (16.1 ppg), while Chesterton grad Abby Skube is averaging 14.4 points over her last five games -- all starts. Portage grad Lisa Samplawski came off the bench to score a career-high 23 points in a Feb. 10 win over Milwaukee .
