Valparaiso will win if: It can improve from the field. The Crusaders made just 29.6 percent of their shots in a 63-42 loss at UIC on Jan. 20. VU has also won its last three home games, going on a 20-3 run over the last six minutes to defeat Loyola 72-68 on Thursday.
Illinois-Chicago win if: It can find its offense. The Flames have lost three of their last four games. They are shooting just 38.7 percent from the field this season. In the earlier win over the Crusaders, UIC was 56 percent from the field in the second half. The Flames used an 11-0 run midway through the second to pull away for the win.
