Green Bay remained atop the Horizon League standings with a 69-50 win over Valparaiso on Saturday night at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

The No. 22 Phoenix (20-1, 9-0) used a 7-0 run over the final 3:11 of the first half to enter the break ahead 36-22. VU was 0-for-5 from the field with a turnover during the run.

VU's Betsy Adams scored a on a layup to cut the deficit to 36-24 with 19:36 remaining in the game. Thanks to another 0-for-5 performance from the field along with three Valpo turnovers, Green Bay built a 48-24 cushion with a 12-0 run over a 5:03 span.

Green Bay had four players in double figures. Celeste Hoewisch scored a game-high 17 points, while Kayla Tetschlag added 14, Julie Wotja 14 and Lydia Bauer 12. The Phoenix also scored 20 points off turnovers.

VU guard Rashida Ray scored a career-high 16 points, draining 4-of-5 3-point attempts.
