It's been a long couple weeks for me as I am still sidelined with my bone bruise. I'm feeling better each day, but just unsure of when I am going to return. It's tough sitting on the bench and not being in there playing, but I have been so proud of the way my teammates have played the last two games.

Our wins over Pittsburgh and Georgetown last week were really great for everyone's mindset. Jack Cooley was great coming off the bench and Carleton Scott has been terrific as a starter. I am proud of my teammates, and right now all we want to do is keep our win streak going. I've tried to be very encouraging to the younger guys on the team. It's really helped having Scott Martin on the bench next me. He knows what I am going through right now and he's been a great friend.

I also want to say how sorry I was to see Robbie Hummel go down with his knee injury. Scott, Robbie and I know each other well and it was really unfortunate that he injured his knee.

Tonight, we play our final regular-season home game against Connecticut. It's hard to believe that it is the final time that Tim Andree, Jonathan Peoples, Tory Jackson and myself will be playing in this building.

There have been so many great moments and memories that I'll cherish for a lifetime. Tim, Jonathan and Tory have been the greatest teammates to play with and I will miss them a lot.

Hope to see you at our final home game.

As always, Go Irish!
