Valparaiso will win if: It can duplicate the effort made last year against the Camels. Valparaiso captured its lone victory of the 2011 campaign in a 34-31 thriller at Brown Field. Eric Hoffman threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns last season against Campbell.

Campbell will win if: It can run the ball. Valparaiso's run defense has been shredded for 822 yards over the last two games while being outscored 89-7. Campbell averages just 296.5 yards per game on offense and boasts the second worst scoring defense in the Pioneer Football League.

Notes: Today's meeting will be the fifth contest between the two schools since Campbell resurrected its football program prior to the 2008 season. ... The series is tied 2-2, with Valparaiso falling 56-14 in its last trip to Buies Creek. ... Gabe Ali-El is listed on the depth chart for the first time in three weeks.
